you're never going to find someone who is exactly like you, and wants and needs the same exact things as you do... if you expect to find that, you'll never be satisfied. you're in for the longest winter (aka a depressing time) if you can't accept that things will never be perfect or exactly the way you want them.

Wow. This song is just awesome. It's deep, and it flows really well. Don't let love pass you by, is what I think it means, basically.
I think it means do not pass love by or else love will pass you by. and if you do not find love you never will, so it's better to find love then be numb to the world. I like this song a lot. It has a lot of meaning for me right now, although I wasn't really in love with the guy. It just has so much meaning.

This is my fav pedro the lion song off of my favorite pedro the lion album(it's hard to find a friend). The words to this song epitomize loneliness and the worry that you will spend the rest of your life alone. Yes it's quite a sad song, but I'm into that. if you can appreciate an honest expression of emotion(particualrly sadness), you will love this song
