I think it's about the christian vision of life, life after death, and about faith giving you strength.
I agree with mortiferus here, to see from the eyes of a hero! The christian thing doesn't sound right to me. Still, amazing song!
Hmm... think about it. Path of Glory is a term used by Christians to describe their lifestyle and such. It's basically a song about the Christian way of life and how faith gives you strength etc. I think it's awesome D&W plays a song about the darker side of religion with Poor Man's Crusade then breaks into this song. Honestly, if songs in church sounded like this I might actually attend.
What is Hansi's religion??? He writes songs like Another Holy War and Poor Man's Crusade, but at the same time writes Path of Glory and Precious Jerusalem. He DOES confuses me o.o'

If you take the song in context with the entire album it almost seems more intended as a claim christians make to indoctrinate people into their blood magic doomsday death cult, however, on it's own it seems more like a song about finding your own free, whatever that is, inner peace will find it's way and set me free!!! The song never once talks about that being God or Jesus. Glory has many definitions and I don't think the song is only meant to be interpreted one way
