Blood On My Hands Lyrics
This is clearly about the Nibelungs.
Siegfried bathed in Fafnirs (a dragon) blood, thus becoming invincible whereever the blood touched his body, but...
A treacherous leaf And a secret unsealed It will cause deadly wounds
a leaf fell on his shoulder unnoticed. The blood didn't touch him there, so this was his achilles' heel. Later on, he is betrayed by his loved one, who knew about the spot on his shoulder. She is convinced by Hagen of Tronje to "mark the spot so I may watch over it in battle." And so on.
I love this song! It fucking owns! Heard the first time and was hooked and it's now in my AIM Profile. Fistan Thanks for puttin these lyrics up.

D&W.
The blood on my hands you see Cannot be washed away I am chosen by destiny To dwell in misery
What did macbeth say after he killed king ducan? What guilt did he live with after he killed the king? Hmmm?
^^^Don't make faggy posts like that, no one is impressed.
Is this song about macbeth or not? I've read Macbeth and I really don't see how this song is about Macbeth can someone explain it and not be an idiot about it?
I did not read MacBeth, but as far as i know "The blood on my hands you see Cannot be washed away" could refer to Lady MacBeth who thinks she always have king Duncans blood on her hands.
But in my opinion its about thze nibelungs.
I believe Ferrus is right-- this song is about The Nibelungs. In addition to what he posted,
Roam to the ghostly river Rhine Leave the misty shades behind I can feel I'm getting near
The "river Rhine" is the river in which Hagen hides Sigfried's treasure after he kills him to prevent his wife from using it to raise her own army.
