This song sounds like some magic going on. Almost like Five Magics...
Yeah one of those fantasy-based kind of songs like aforementioned Five Magics and She Wolf. I guess you could interpret it as insanity.

i don't know what this song means, but it's awesome, especially daves singing.
The vocals aren't amazingly flashy in this song, but they go with it perfectly, and for that I commend Dave on the awesome vocals for this one.
I think this is one of the best songs off CW, along with She-Wolf and FFF.
Dave's vocal work is amazing, and so are the lyrics.
I must admit that I can't tell what the song is about. Basically, it's a "vortex" of seemingly disjointed images with a unifying fantasy theme.
How I interpret the songs lyrics is that he's gone through a breakup and can't quite decide how to feel about it. He misses her yet hates her, knows she's bad for him yet wants her back in his life. Scared to be on his own yet wanting payback for the wrong doings she had done. The wrath of a breakup is a vortex of pain. This is all my interpretation though, whose to say what it's about.
This song is someone descending into hell and making a deal with the devil to take over. Maybe it’s what Dave thinks as a painful migraine headache surges into his head …
I always thought it sounded like a sequel to Tornado of Souls. Guitar riff is similar.
