Timmy the Turtle

In the liner notes in "45 or 46 songs that weren't good enough to go on out other records" it says its about their old bouncer or something that's nickname was timmy the turtle, and he sang in a band called the grim.

no no no, this song is about tim yohannon, a great friend of mike's who died. he sang in a band called the grim. he had the nickname 'timmy the turtle' hence the title of the song. and i believe the line 'too slow, he sat in turtle goo' actually goes 'too slow, is how that turtle go'. i may be wrong, but i doubt it. anyway, this song is pretty cool.

this song is funny. it's about this guy Tim that works with nofx...he counts all the people that come into the shows. they call him the turtle cause they say he walks like a turtle on its hind legs. duncan from snuff sings this song. and the line goes "too slow is how that turtle go"
