If you don't like James voice, you should listen to the live version of this, where it is Metallica playing the song, but King Diamond is singing it. Preferably I prefer the Metallica version of this song, because I personally find King Diamond's voice too high pitched, as I first heard this song by Metallica, but when I heard the original, it threw me off by how it changes pitch, from low to high in parts.

I agree, I like King Diamond's voice better than jamez' voice. Except in Corpse Without a Soul.
Like King Nothing said, it's 5 Mercyful Fate songs, parts of them at least, all in one song for about 11 minutes.
While King's voice can't be replaced, James does a good job, he does it in his own style which works really well. They had a demo of Devil's Eyes where they tried to do Kings Voice (although it was a bit of a joke to start with, a mess around) and they couldn't do it. That's part of the reason, they didn't copy anyones voices in thier covers, Motorhead might be an exception because they went a bit deeper on vocals than normal.
I have had Mercyful Fate albums since I was a kid and I totally have to say in my opinion Metallica outdid them.. but then again I am a diehard Metallica fan.

I like the music, but the lyrics sound funny without king diamond singing them, but i like it nonetheless.
