The second part of the "Something Wicked Trilogy." Based on the character Set Abominae, which Jon Schaffer created, tells how he finally rises to destroy mankind as the prophecy stated.

The caracter he created is based on set. A god in Egypitian Myothology named Set, Which is the god of Evil. That's why it says "Born of the beast.. In Eastern Sands.."
Well that may be true but many theologians believe that the Anti-Christ will come from the Middle East. That line is certainly a reference to the previous mentioned notion.

The trilogy off Something Wicked, along with Overture of the Wicked, Framing Armageddon, I Walk Among You, and The Crucible of Man are all part of the same story.
This trilogy provides the backstory for the albums that follow.
"Set Abominae [the mascot] is a fictional character featured in the works of American heavy metal guitarist Jon Schaffer from the band Iced Earth, and is the main character of the Something Wicked Saga.
Set Abominae is an Anti-Christ-like figure, spoken of in the Prophecy.
