Sounds to me like someone had a miscarriage because they were shooting up drugs.

I agree with dred, Adrenaline has always been my absolute favorite album from them. And every other album is surely amazing, but this one is where it is at, and not many agree.

One Weak being one of my favorites. Lifter, Root, Engine No. 9, and Minus Blindfold also come to mind. Lifter being my absolute favorite. Amazing album all the way, and no one can forget the classic Bored.

I always saw this is how two lovers are broken up by their beliefs. That they are so "meant" to be yet he found God and she didn't. He's saying how he'll never burn underneath the floor (go to hell?) or burn at all.

He's sad to see that he's cursed because he really loves her but can't be with her because of their different beliefs. That's just my view on it.

Lately I've been around relationships that were so good and maybe meant to be but couldn't be because of some incredible difference or maybe what we see as a difference that has caused everything to unravel.

in my opinion, it's obviously aboutanti-abortion issues, possibly dealing with an incident that was close to home, or even pro-life in general. It's also entirely possible that spirituality plays a role in that,

but that's just my opinion.

These lyrics aren't quite accurate, but I know this song is about a relationship that didn't work due to differing beliefs. Nerve, here I burned, feeding on his lung, -I fucked up by being ballsy enough to discuss religion Verve is his curse, because he wanted to meet Christ alone. -I believe Chino is saying the man (him or someone else) didn't share the same organized beliefs as the woman, he had his own beliefs and his curse was being passionate about and expressing them

Granted I could be reading way into this because I just went through literally this exact scenario, but listening to this song before (having little clue what it meant) and listening to it after the break up, It makes far more sense and I can understand and relate to the lyrics and the angst of the song far better than I ever could.
