I dont dont dont believe i fell asleep talk's a waste of time
the roller coaster that I rode with her on valentines
and all i see i dont dont dont believe
and what you see is what you get with me
wasting all your time
going all the way, looking so helpless
everyday
daddy's little defect
all the same
keep your secret away from me
if you want to be mine
so dont dont dont make a sound your fathers around to play with your head
a gift wrapped guilt-trip kisses left you naked in your bed
and all i see i don't don't don't believe
and what you see is what you get with me
wasting all your time
wasting all your time
(chorus x 2)
letting go, letting go again, letting go
let 'em go, and you're left with nothing
let go it will be alright
doesn't matter cause its free to waste your life
I don't don't don't believe I fell asleep talks a waste of time
the roller coaster that I ride with her
wasting all your time
wasting all your time
(chorus x 3)

"Defect" means a problem or blemish, and I think that he's talking about the girl he likes being her daddy's problem. Like a black sheep, ya know? Anyway, I absolutely love this song and the part that says "The roller coaster that I rode with her on Valentine's" is just awesome.

This song (to put it bluntly) is about your girlfriend being a slut. Daddy's Little Defect...Daddy's Little Nightmare, you know.

    This song is SO awesome.

It's definitely about being hated by your father, so you turn to sexual problem solvers. The verse "a gift wrapped guilt-trip kisses left you naked in your bed" is the GREATEST part o the song, becuase you can figure out what it's about.

I thought this song was about this girl, and her father abuses her, I'd be guessing sexually as for it says "so dont dont dont make a sound your fathers around to play with your head a gift wrapped guilt-trip kisses left you naked in your bed" And the term "Daddy's little defect" ment.. Like her father had hurt her, broken her, hence the "defect". And when he says "keep your secret away from me if you want to be mine " He's saying "Don't tell me about your issues, unless you want to be mine" But I don't know, maybe I was wrong. :\

i think its about him and a girl in a relationship. she has more issues than he thinks... he just wants to have fun w/ her but at home her daddy abuses her. and he doesn't wanna get involved so he says 'keep ur secrets away from me if u wanna be mine'.. he knows something creepy is goin down in her home 'everything i see i dont dont dont believe' but he doesn't wanna admit it so he reassures her 'what u see is what u get w/ me'... i dunno i'll leave it at that

I got the same inpression as ColorMeComplex when I first heard this song, but I think everyone else has the right idea now that I think about it. This song makes me sad though everytime I hear it b/c I'm reminded of when I had to leave the Sugarcult concert early in the show (during this song), b/c my ride screwed me over. Lucky for me I got to talk to Marko before the show & he is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Can't wait to see them again 8.06.02!!

I think this song is about a girl who's neglected by her father, and as a result she turns rebellious and turns into a little slut. To understand the true meaning of this song you need to pay close attention to the sexual innuendos. You figure it out.

Holiday

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
