Trip My Wire Lyrics
Be easy on me
I'm fragile
I'm easily broken
Be careful with me
I'm a fighter
And you're cheating
You're a liar
I don't need this anymore
This is not what I came for
I won't stand for this at all
I won't see you anymore
Be easy on me
Don't trip my wire
I'm freaking
I'm on fire
Be easy on me
Trip my wire
I'm freaking
I'm on fire
I don't need this any more
This is not what I came for
I won't stand for this at all
I won't see you any more
Be careful with me
I'm fragile
I'm a bitch, babe
And I'm on fire
Be careful with me
I'm fragile
I'm a bitch, babe
And I'm on fire
Be careful with me
Be careful with me
Be careful with me
I'm (?)
I'll stab you 'til tripping my wire
I'm free, free, free but baby I'm on fire
I don't need this any more
This is what I came here for
I'm fragile
I'm easily broken
I'm a fighter
And you're cheating
You're a liar
This is not what I came for
I won't stand for this at all
I won't see you anymore
Don't trip my wire
I'm freaking
I'm on fire
Trip my wire
I'm freaking
I'm on fire
This is not what I came for
I won't stand for this at all
I won't see you any more
I'm fragile
I'm a bitch, babe
And I'm on fire
I'm fragile
I'm a bitch, babe
And I'm on fire
Be careful with me
Be careful with me
I'm (?)
I'm free, free, free but baby I'm on fire
I don't need this any more
This is what I came here for

i love this song. absolutely love it. im not really sure what its about but i think its about a girl who keeps going in and out of bad relationships, it makes her stronger ont he outside, but weakens her spirit.
This is a great song by Garbage that isn't recognized like it should be. I agree with the above post that it's about someone who has had bad experiences. However, I think it's more specific. I think she's been cheated on at least once before, and has just learned she's been cheated on again - or suspects it - or is simply warning her new lover what kind of person she is and what kind of person she is capable of being if you piss her off. I love it!
Love this song. Being only on the B-side (or whatever it's called on CD's) of Queer Pt. 2 makes it pretty obscure, though, at least for now. Still, I love how this song is so aggressive and so vulnerable at the same time (obviously, "Be careful with me" can be interpreted both ways). I especially love how Manson's voice becomes so desperate in the last few verses. Plus the music (especially the electric opening, which is repeated later on) is unforgettable.
I especially adore the last part of it! Where she goes like:
"Be careful with me. I'm fragile. I'm a bitch, babe. And I'm on fire."
And the "bap-bap-bap-bap" part as well... This song is highly underrated, which is kinda sad. People should appreciate it way more.
I think this song is just kinky. Not really about anything at all.
Shirley is my favorite, my only problem is not discovering her/them (Garbage) until 2005. It is to weep;
