Hammering In My Head Lyrics
I'm stressed but you're freestyle
I'm overworked but I'm undersexed
I must be made of concrete
I sign my name across your chest
Give out the same old answers
I trot them out for the relatives
Company tried and tested
I use the ones that I love the best
Like an animal you're moving over me
Like an animal you're moving over me
When did I get perverted
I can't remember your name
I'm growing introverted
You touch my hand and it's not the same
This was so unexpected
I never thought I'd get caught
Play boomerang with your demons
Shoot to kill and you'll pop them off
BANG! BANG!
Like an animal you're moving over me
Like an animal you're moving over me
You should be sleeping my love
Tell me what you're dreaming of [all 4x]
I knew you were mine for the taking
I knew you were mine for the taking
I knew you were mine for the taking
When I walked in the room
I knew you were mine for the taking
I knew you were mine for the taking
Your eyes light up
When I walk in the room
A hammering in my head don't stop
From the bullet train
From Tokyo to Los Angeles
I'm leaving you behind
A flash in the pan
A storm in a teacup
A needle in a haystack
A prize for the winning
A dead for the raising
A catch for the chasing
A jewel for the choosing
A man for the making in this blistering heat
Sweat it all out
Sweat it all out
With your bedroom eyes and your baby pouts
Sweat it all out
In our electric storms and our shifting sands
Our candy jars and our sticky hands
Sweat it all out [6x]
Don't forget what I wrote you then
And don't forget what I told you then
And don't forget I that meant to win
And don't forget your ventolin
So a hammering in my head don't stop
In the bullet train from Tokyo to Los Angeles
I'm overworked but I'm undersexed
I must be made of concrete
I sign my name across your chest
I trot them out for the relatives
Company tried and tested

Somethin' about this song makes me somewhat... horny
Here's how I see it:
She is in a relationship with this person who doesn't want her as much as she wants him. It's stressing her out. "I'm stressed but you're fresstyle."
She's overworked and understressed. She feels made of concrete because he doesn't notice her. She can sign her name across his chest and he still doesn't notice her. She acts as if nothing is wrong but inside she's on the verge of cheating. She really loves him, but she needs to get laid.
She eventually cheats on him. Things just aren't the same anymore. She gets caught. She eventually gets what she wants. She's happy in the end. She feels as if she's won and he's lost. She used him.
I think it's pretty much about when you're in a very passionate/sexual relationship with someone & you can't get them out of your head... C'mon, it's so blatantly sexual: "Like an animal you're moving over me", "When did I get perverted?", "Our candy jars and our sticky hands"....
the music in this song goes off!
The song is definitely about an addiction, whether it be sex or drugs or both. It could mean either the drugs decrease (or increase) her libido, thus the lyric "I'm overworked, but I'm under sexed." I say it's a drug reference due to the title of the song "Hammering in my Head".
I'm stressed but you're freestyle I'm overworked but I'm undersexed I must be made of concrete I sign my name across your chest ////Overworked and undersexed on tour, tired as hell, signing fans' breasts like rockstars do.
Give out the same old answers I trot them out for the relatives Company tried and tested I use the ones that I love the best ///// I tell the relatives and people I know that the whole rock star image is just for marketing, etc., they have no idea what my sexual life is like while I'm on tour.
Like an animal you're moving over me Like an animal you're moving over me //// Self explanatory. Getting shagged by a groupie.
When did I get perverted I can't remember your name //// Can't even remember the names of the groupies the next morning, and can't believe she got so perverted.
I'm growing introverted You touch my hand and it's not the same This was so unexpected I never thought I'd get caught ///Perhaps to her husband or partner-because she has been cheating, she feels introverted and his touch doesn't feel the same anymore. She didn't expect to get caught at cheating, but he obviously suspects something.
Play boomerang with your demons Shoot to kill and you'll pop them off BANG! BANG! ///self-explanatory wordplay about the above.
You should be sleeping my love Tell me what you're dreaming of [all 4x] //// People have said they are confused about this part. I believe it is about getting a phone call in the middle of the night from her husband/partner and having to pretend to be innocent.
I knew you were mine for the taking I knew you were mine for the taking I knew you were mine for the taking When I walked in the room
I knew you were mine for the taking I knew you were mine for the taking Your eyes light up When I walk in the room ///self-explanatory. Which of us wouldn't be hers for the taking?
A hammering in my head don't stop From the bullet train From Tokyo to Los Angeles I'm leaving you behind A flash in the pan A storm in a teacup A needle in a haystack A prize for the winning A dead for the raising A catch for the chasing A jewel for the choosing A man for the making in this blistering heat
Sweat it all out Sweat it all out With your bedroom eyes and your baby pouts Sweat it all out In our electric storms and our shifting sands Our candy jars and our sticky hands
Sweat it all out [6x] ////All this is self-explanatory.
Don't forget what I wrote you then And don't forget what I told you then And don't forget I that meant to win And don't forget your ventolin So a hammering in my head don't stop In the bullet train from Tokyo to Los Angeles
//// Don't forget your inhaler when you come visit me on tour, because shit be crazy.
I love that song... :D it makes me wanna dance... and i love the lyrics
"give out the same old answrs, i trot them out for the relatives, company tried and tested," is an admitted attempt to pass as normal to those outside your private life. This song is about secret perversions, contrasted to the public life and manson's reaction to the events that take place in the shadows of her life, where no one but her and a few others are privelidged to see.
the person who posted these lyrics forgot all the stuff at the end of the song, but at any rate, i love this song.
that should be right - hopefully
best garbage song i believe - i totally agree with mattlikescheese...
