I can relate to this song, for such a long time I've been lost, dying inside.

I don't think this is about a relationship at all. This song feels like when you've given up and need something to 'pick you off the floor' whether it's some stranger in a bar that you don't give a s*** about, or drugs. When you've done everything you can do but you just give up and all you can do is hope that something will come along to save you from completely empty feeling. I also think it's about that glorious moment when you find that temporary fix, whether it's drugs or a kiss. The instrumental part kinda expresses that much.

hmm i think its about creating a cycle of let downs, drugs or love not sure it matters. I'd say the point is you repeatedly put yourself in a position where you expect too much from people/drugs/the world and your problems just get worse and worse because you expect someone/something to save you from the things you cant or wont fix yourself in your life.

I think that's it at the heart its a song about wanting other people/things to make you not have to be responsible for your own life and the issues in it

Anyway, this is one of their best songs.

Someone who has been through so much shit and is in such a drak place in their life, and they want someone save them from themselves. Also, almost seems it could be about taking medication for depression. Kind of a quick fix.

first thing I thought was, a relationship problem, but that's only cause I'm going through that, it's a great song, I agree it's just someone in derpression who wants someone to free them from there pain.
