and since it wasn't commented on, i feel no burden or shame in posting my complete posting, as i was not finished. anyhow, it stuns me that this song wasn't commented on before i. this is my favorite van morrison song...really, it's the only van morrison song that i enjoy thoroughly (other than BEG which is a classic). nonetheless, the meaning is simply in the song...as are most songs, actually.
