High in the sierras
She said in coy fashion do you dare us
So I took truth and she pondered what to ask what to grasp who to cast in days of our lives that plays in her head
An operatic tome that unfurls in the dome
What else could lie in there?
So wegot out the ski Equipment and set forth on a frozen drive through powder and ice cycle shards that I want to lick
And get my tongue stuck on you do I say you I mean winter I mean side of the road I mean I'll carry the load of our ski Equipment in the event we fall down the steepest cliff
Flying down the frozen lake Tahoe road never felt so free as I do with you next to me I'm happy never felt this unfettered it's better with you riding shotgun as you know hon you really can't drive and I would like to stay alive so I will and you jive and we arrive
How the snow glistens all around it brings out your blue eyes like the lake what would it take for you to be spur of the minute and push it to the limit lock ourselves in our cabin and hibernate til the spring this is mu h more then a ski Equipment fling you make me sing send my words on a wing
I had a dream we were skating on the lake
The ice was blue black you twizzled and my heart sank
Arabesque into the abyss
In cold sierra water are we doomed
But then I see a shiny opening
Fluorescent entrance to a palace underground
What have I found that alluring sound lead me to your secret place
