WOMAN: Hey Karen.
KAREN: Yes?
WOMAN: Don't you go out with Alex?
KAREN: Yeah, we go out occasionally.
WOMAN: Right, I thought so.
Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but girl, you wouldn't believe what I heard.
KAREN: Ah, what did you hear?
WOMAN: Let me tell you, there was a party last Saturday night, you know.
Everybody was there, girl.
KAREN: Mmmm, hmmm.
WOMAN: Anyway, supposedly he tried to hit on that girl Kim.
KAREN: Yeah.
WOMAN: He was all over her.
KAREN: Ah, I should've known something was wrong when he didn't call to confirm our date and he never showed up.
Can you believe that?
WOMAN: Hey, you know how men are.
KAREN: I just thought things would be different this time.
WOMAN: Hey, that's what you get for thinking.
KAREN: Oh no.
WOMAN: Let me tell you, you cannot trust a man anywhere.
KAREN: Wait 'til I see him, I'm gonna kill him.
WOMAN: I mean, look, just don't say I said anything.
KAREN: No, I wouldn't do that.
WOMAN: 'Cause I mean, I'm not the one that gossips. I'm not the gossipy type.
But I just wanted you to know just so that you would be aware.
