Struck by Lightning

Nothing did I suspect - Nor did I know
Of what I am - Of where I stand
I was ripped from Death - To (breathe) fresh air again
I saw Satan fall - Like lightning from the one
To the might of the absolute
My spirit is rising like snow ascending!
I thought I was free - So blind to my darkness
As lightning strikes inside
Light above light - Within and beyond
Forgotten realm
I stand here wide awake with the sight
Of one who already walks on the further shore
A laurel wreath among ruins
Struck by lightning
Nothing did I suspect - Nor did I know
Of what I am - Of promised lands
The eternal shall return - All error fade away
And into endless gates
I rise again!
To the might of the absolute
My spirit is rising like snow ascending!
I thought I was free - Still chained to our times
As lightning strikes inside
Light above light - Within and beyond
The forgotten realm
I stand here wide awake with the sight
Of one who already walks on the further shore

Dominus illuminatio mea - Vincit omnia veritas
Victory already won - But the war rages on and on...
And you cannot win!
So here I stand - Alone with the alone
Inside of the storm - Struck by lightning
