while others change you stay the same your mission only lets you see yourself no purpose higher than a fame
so close but never getting any closer could live but you don't wanna do it you don't wanna do it at all
it's called growing up
and maybe you should figure it out
'cause everyone else is
and you're taking too long
can't catch up to where your mouth is
can't accept that there's a consequence
let your ego run your actions
now you're learning what a man is
you started off as kids
you started off a kid
but now you're in a limbo in the in-between perpetuating walls
if you don't tear them down
you can never build
you got manipulated
told lies behind my back
I'm not the one you hated
you're just looking to unpack
If you don't know who you are
you'll never know what's real
your foot's on the gas
but you're not behind the wheel
trapped and isolated by yourself
always so concerned with someone else trapped and isolated
you're just looking to attack
you're losing time to move
outcomes keep you second guessing entombed still inside the womb
and I'm not sure you'll get the message
so concerned with someone else
you should be more worried for yourself
