On a cold dark night
I hit black ice
Skidding full speed into a tree
Now I sit in the smoking wreckage
My bleeding eyes can't see
It's hard to breathe
And I can't feel my legs
below the knee
Pain fades
I grow numb
New snow blows

A hole where

The Temperature drops
Red ice clots
