All About Temptation

Sometimes I like to get wild
sometimes I like to get crazy
sometimes I take too many shots
and take off all my clothes in a parking lot
sometimes I like to smoke cigars
sometimes I like to pick up men in bars
sometimes I like to eat all the cookies in the pantry
I leave nothing for my family.
Temptation
walking a fine line

Sometimes I add extra salt to my fries (how naughty)
even though they tell me it goes straight to my thighs (straight to your thighs darling)
sometimes I sit on the couch all day
and watch the T.V. play (ugh, there's nothing on)
sometimes I like to play hookey
and I don't even have a job (jobless)
sometimes I like to flirt with damaged people
because they turn me on...
stay awake and wait for my signal
when you're weak and vulnerable
that is when I will seduce you
that is when I'll have control.
Sometimes I stand on the edge of a cliff
and I'm tempted to jump off of it
I heard on a podcast once that's normal
so I guess there's nothing wrong with me.
Why not get a little crazy?
Why not have a little fun?
Why not smoke that cigarette and forget about
temptation
cast under a spell
temptation
can you tell?
I think I'll struggle with this all my life
but you know what? I don't even mind
cuz temptation
can be a hell of a good time.
