Untitled (Unreleased) Lyrics

Take me
Maybe I’ll walk to where you want me to
Take me somewhere I can look to the sky and feel the same
Daydream without getting lost with fear without the reason
Maybe without you I’d be the same

Maybe
Maybe I’d run to where you’re walking to
Maybe it’s somewhere I’d look into your eyes and feel the same
Maybe I’m out getting lost with fear without the reason
Baby, without you I’d be the same

Cover art for Untitled (Unreleased) lyrics by JT Royster

“Take me.” The speaker asks a romantic interest to take initiative in regards to forming a romantic and/or sexual relationship.

“Maybe I’d walk to where you want me to.” The speaker voices what could be interpreted as reluctance to embark on the potential relationship.

“Take me — somewhere I can look into the sky and feel the same.” The speaker appears to be feeling uncertain, perhaps as to whether their feelings are equally reciprocated or not — or whether they’ll be able to “handle it” if the relationship doesn’t pan out the way they’d prefer it to.

“Daydream — without getting lost with fear without the reasons.” The speaker expresses a desire to think about the future and its possibilities with curiosity and optimism, rather than the fear and uncertainty they are currently experiencing. It seems that the speaker is unsure as to why they’re even feeling so anxious and conflicted.

“Maybe — without you I’d be the same.” Here, it seems the speaker could be weighing their “pros and cons”, leaning towards the idea that it may not be “worth it” to even try to see how the relationship might pan out. The speaker appears to be concerned with the idea that it could end up causing more pain, fear, and uncertainty in the long run.

“Maybe — I’d run to where you’re walking to.” The speaker considers taking the relationship “head on”, making the desire to do so evident to the listener.

“Maybe — it’s somewhere I’d look into your eyes and feel the same.” The speaker makes a shift in tone, now leaning more towards the curiosity and optimism they previously expressed wanting to have in regards to the potential relationship.

“Maybe — I’m out getting lost in fear without the reason.” The speaker admits that they may be overthinking. Perhaps the speaker doesn’t need to understand the root of their fear and uncertainty to recognize that while it’s valid, it is not necessarily realistic or even in the realm of reality.

“Baby — without you I wouldn’t be the same.” The speaker ultimately decides to openly and honestly share their feelings towards the romantic interest with them, despite the coexisting feelings of fear and uncertainty.
