My Body's Made of Crushed Little Stars

(Sorry about grammar and if this is hard to read.)

When she says my body is made of crushed little stars I think she is touching on the scientific thought that we are literally made of the tiny, micro, stars of the universe. Then the line 'would you kill me Jerusalem?' meets that line and addressing the religious aspect.

The 2nd verse really stood out to me, like it really spoke to me. When she repeats the lines 'I'm going to see the whole world.' she is talking about all of her hopes and dreams in life. The line after; 'I don't know how i'm going to pay rent.' shows that she cant complete these hopes and dreams due to complications/trauma.. etc.

Then the I'm going to ace that interview part - I don't think she is actually talking about a job but as a whole in life - that she WILL complete those dreams, or at least try too.

'I work better under a deadline.' Is a literal statement. That she does work better under pressure and when she knows she has to get this done by a point.

But in all I feel like the singer is expressing how even though she has accomplish so much as a person yet she doesnt feel complete.
