I can't feel my body
And nothing else here matters at all
The shapes become electric
Innocence and magic for all
I'm lifting past the skyline
And no one seems to notice my fall
In and out the timelines
Now I see the truth of it all
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified (oh-oh)
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified
Laughter from the children
Streets are made of silence for you
I will reach the summit to hold you in my arms with a view
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified (oh-oh)
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified-fide-fide-fide-fide
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified (oh-oh)
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified
And nothing else here matters at all
The shapes become electric
Innocence and magic for all
And no one seems to notice my fall
In and out the timelines
Now I see the truth of it all
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified
Streets are made of silence for you
I will reach the summit to hold you in my arms with a view
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified-fide-fide-fide-fide
We'll go (oh-oh), terrified

3deep5u introspective piece by Tom. Seems to be about Tom coming to grips with his life post-Blink 182 (2013 to 2022), in which he was no longer in the public eye and was free to live out a quieter existence while reminiscing back on the glory years of the band. He is surprised as the tabloid coverage of him dies down, and that people don't care about what he's up to now that he's not really an active celebrity/rockstar. "Welcome" to retirement, but the thought of never playing a show again "terrifies" him.
He starts to understand his arguments with Mark a little bit more, gets divorced, and gets married again as implied by the final verse.
im in love with the verses of this song. not so much the chorus. feels unfinished for sure. anyway I imagine some sort of end of the world wasteland much like watch the world.
Look up the lyrics lol... Tom sings... WE'LL GO (OH OH) TERRIFIED no WELCOME TERRIFIED.... that doesn't even make sense lol
