She saw me in a light I've never seen,
She made me into someone I've never been,
Because a picture makes a memory out of anything at all,
As a mood makes a dream out of a telephone call.
Then it hit me like sunshine through a window pane,
And I lay there like a sidewalk speckled by the rain,
And she kissed me and said I shouldn't get so wet,
