The song is about self empowerment and anti racism It's talking about how a person can be mistreated because of the way they look, the way they talk or where they're coming from

The 2nd verse is building on that message and telling the listener to stop believing in fairy tails & let go of old misconceptions

Chorus: "I’m gonna stand here like a unicorn Out here on my own I got the power of a unicorn " a unicorn is considered a pure & powerful animal, she's saying whatever comes her way, she can deal with it

3rd verse: "History caught in a loop Don’t u wanna change it? You know that we can, you and me Can write a new book"

she's saying - let's let go prejudice, because history tends to repeat itself let's write a new chapter where we all accept each other

if we do that: "It’s gonna be Phenomen-phenomen- phenomenal Phenomen- phenomenal "
