I watch as the soot and cynicism peel off of you like the acidic leftovers of yesterday's love, so is it any wonder that you find yourself curled up, teary eyed, and boiling quietly with an insatiated rage? Which of them was the tipping point? The final straw? The one who took the smile of your youth and left you bitter, toothless, and raw? He's in there, lurking deep within your head, reeking of cheap vodka and covered in dust from the notches he's carved above his squeaky bed. And he can't help but smile, sadistically content to be always in the back of your mind, splintering your hope while leaving you love-blind. And apparently you can't live without your inhaled affliction, without the temporary relief brought about by your cynical addiction.
