Look at the stars just
Streaming with stardust
Minuscule shards of the grand totality
All of existence recedes in the distance
Everything that ever was, is, or will ever be
Is close at hand and way too far
Even in darkness, there you are
We're never alone, we're covered in stars.

Look for the light that shines

Pause for reflection
'Til everything's fine
All of it ours;
We're covered in stars
Counting the stars
Try to trap them in jars
Try to name whatever system you can see
But nothing gets clearer, we never get nearer
Everything moves ever forward, irreversibly
Even standing still right where you are
You're always in motion and covered in stars
