Flaws Lyrics

The weight, I'm gone
In my skin, I'm lost
Tangled in the bones of this love
Melt into the flow of your blood

Grace bestowed
But I was shaped with snow
Seasons don't change
Ignorance remains

I need this alone
I need this alone

Ooohhhh..

The burdens on this chest
The vessel of these words
Sinking under tension
Drew after thoughts and hurt

The burdens on this chest
The vessel of these words
Sinking under tension
Drew after thoughts and hurt

Ahhhhhhhhhhh

I need this alone
I need this alone
I need this alone
I need this alone
I need this alone

The burdens on this chest
The vessel of these words
Sinking under tension
Drew after thoughts and hurt
The burdens on this chest
The vessel of these words
Sinking under tension
Drew after thoughts and hurt

Cover art for Flaws lyrics by Vancouver Sleep Clinic

This is such a beautiful song with the most amazing lyrics.. I would love to hear some thoughts on this part:

Grace bestowed But I was shaped with snow Seasons don't change Ignorance remains

I don't know why, but to me, it always felt like the first part talks about something/someone obviously beautiful but the author is somehow immune (cold) to that.. At the same time he realizes his own grace is not visible for the other person/people (thus the "ignorance remains" part)? Of course I could be completely wrong, I've been in love with this song for such a long time and still keeps me wondering about the meaning behind it..
