Call Me Little Sunshine Lyrics

Call out in the middle of the night
For when else would I hear you?
Fall out in the cold starlight
I can save you if you do

You will never walk alone
You can always reach me
You will never ever walk alone

Call me Little Sunshine
Call me, call me Mephistopheles
Call me when you feel all alone
Just call me Little Sunshine

Light up in the middle of the day
For how else could you see me?
Ease up to the hunter from the prey
And transform indefinitely

You will never walk alone
You can always reach me
You will never ever walk alone

Call me Little Sunshine
Call me, call me Mephistopheles
Call me when you feel all alone
Just call me Little Sunshine

You will never walk alone
You can always reach me
You will never ever walk alone

You will never walk alone
You can always reach me
You will never ever walk alone
You will never walk alone
You can always reach me
You will never ever walk alone

Even when you're dead and gone
You can always reach me
All you gotta do is call me

call me

Call me Little Sunshine
Call me, call me Mephistopheles
Call me when you feel all alone
Just call me Little Sunshine

Call me Little Sunshine
Call me, call me Mephistopheles
Call me when you feel all alone
Just call me Little Sunshine

The way I see it , the story of the fall of Lucifer is also that of Prometheus. When God created Humans he had every intention of keeping us ignorant, blind, in the dark so to speak. When Lucifer identified this injustice of hiding the true nature of existence from us, he acted upon it and enlightened the first humans, or "lit the torch", in other words. God noticed this and became infuriated, casting him down from Heaven and thus beginning his eons long smear campaign against our advocate. This is a direct parallel to the older story from Greek mythology. Despite his banishment, he will ALWAYS be here for us to light the way. LITTLE SUNSHINE refers to his unconditional promise to always show us the truth of rationale, reason, and logic in the face of Gods deception. (All you gotta do is call him) HAIL ALL FREE THINKERS! 🖤🤘😈🤘💜

I believe this song is about being their for someone, no matter what. what's confusing is the line "call me mephistopheles" mephistopheles, also called mephisto, is an incarnation of the devil.

My Interpretation

@if ur 555 im 6(sic)6 he's telling "little sunshine" u can call on me (the devil) anytime day or night meaning even when your trying to be good u can always be bad (in a sense).

No matter how low you get and when you feel alone and helpless Satan will always listen for you and "help" you. Calling him Little Sunshine I see as the way the Devil is having a jokester/sarcastic attitude as he is usually portrayed as the exact opposite.

My Interpretation

@rolow he's speaking to "little sunshine" to call on him day or night, he's not saying call him that name.

I heard this song as an update to Meliora's "Cirice". I get the same feel, the same flavor. Additionally, it reminds me of 70's Alice Cooper tunes like "Dead Babies".
