Cheap Vodka: Hopeless People Don't go to the Dentist Lyrics

Hopeless People Don't go to the Dentist [Jul. 12th, 2006|04:45 am]
The clouds pulled apart, some of them at least, and there she was, smiling - such a beautiful smile and such a beautiful reason to give it. But then again I don't think she ever needed much of a reason. It was a welcoming smile, not really a "see I told you so" smile - that's not so much her way. But maybe someday she will smile like that at me, but not at the moment. None of that really matters, but I squinted my eyes and nodded in humble recognition - trying to hold back a big smile, but unable to as I looked to the ground and let the world see my crooked teeth. I hid them once again and looked around, feeling faint from the brightness and life of the place. I stood there patiently as she walked away, a look of contentedness on her face. I took a deep breath and filtered out the butterflies extending down my arm, wishing that they would take their place back in the underside of my empty stomach.
