I loaded up all the weapons tonight.
Suit up with the attitude money can't buy.
Hands still, dressed to kill with a smile on my face.
"Trouble maker", "Wife taker" are my middle names.

So long! I've moved on to better days!
Good-bye! This soul belongs to me!

Hey You!
I'm here to stay, their young voices are calling out my name.
Hey You!
I'm loosing my head, this new solitude puts me back in the game.

Soul dance covered up in tequila and sweat.
Dim light, pillow fight, lust found it's way.
Booty-call, do the job, then get outta here.
Evil smile while she rides thinking which one's next.

So long! I've moved on to better days!
Good-bye! This soul belongs to me!

Hey You!
I'm here to stay, their young voices are calling out my name!
Hey You!
I'm loosing my head, this new solitude puts me back in the game.

Hey you! are you in for the ride?
You better buckle up, 'cause is gonna be wild.
What's your age again? I forgot your name.
Come on let's see how dirty can you get.

Hey You!
I'm here to stay, their young voices are calling out my name!
Hey You!
I'm loosing my head, this new solitude puts me back in the game.

Hey You
I'm back in the game
Hey You
I'm Back in the game
Hey you
Im' back in the game
Hey you
and I intend to play!

Classic love story true to his western tx roots. One of my favorites as a story, but I think there are alot of songs that are amazing not even listed on this site. I guess I should figure out how to add them, because I have about 8 REK cd's.

Word Alive, The
This song is def a twin to "Unfair" (a song she has been quoted as saying is about falling in love with someone who is already in a relationship) so it is presumably about the same person. Given the references to buying an apartment and not being able to see her love interest "after tonight," it's most likely that she's moving away and she'll "wait a day to break the bad news" (i.e. notifying him that she's leaving once she's already gone). And, of course, the fact that she sees in him a fellow "idealist" and "dreamer" (terms commonly given to people with the INFP personality on the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)) portends that she'll always be left wondering if they would've been perfect together.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
