Pretty straight forward the main character is frustrated and has pent up anger it's mostly directed to his love interest. He wants to punish her to go crazy set things on fire and let his anger out... But, He doesn't wanna make things worse, so he is just gonna sit tight and wait it out until he becomes use to it and feels numb so he doesn't feel pain.
