when the church bell touched ground
I would never have thought I'd do it myself
though the message still holds ground
the mascots bring hell
the afflicted heal so the sermon pours out
and once again our faith restored in post drought but I know
as human nature it's only time 'fore this fell
when poisoned hands disguised in robe reach out
with whiskey in my veins I load my gun and block doors
this mass has turned to murder in the coldest of its forms
this sense of comfort is glass-built
and this island weather is in standstill
with this demon strapped to our free will
no one is safe we learn as our blood spills
but faith sparks as you grab my hand
we'll take the ferry to find solace mainland
