It was cold and wet in the sky was black
Still hours from my home
I dropped off some freight in another state the wind cut through my soul
The rain began it was pounding hard as I climbed into that plane
I looked into that void above and thought, this is insane

I was cleared to go Down that foggy strip I can still hear the engines roar
I pulled the gear at 50 feet and everything went black
