Conqueror

You are running away, away from your pain by giving your heart to anything. Then turning your face to escape your guilt and your shame. But where will you let your feet take you, if you run from this? And by turning your head, what will you see? There is no standing still, and I fear that you will fall, but there is help if you would reach out your hand. Ignite our hearts, to bring us life.
I know your mind is at war, you feel the weight of your choice, begin to shift the scales. But please take this to heart, from one who's seen the path before: don't hide your face out of fear of the truth, but open your eyes and face it. Stay in his holy fire. This is war. Make your stand.
This fire will grip your heart and pull, placing heat on impurities. Burn. So what's left is a pure form, and as the rest is burned out, it becomes an offering. Blanket the air with a fire that this offering will burn. Tearing wounds never healed opening the scars to burn out everything unworthy of light.
We cant back down, not now, not ever. Now that you're standing on your own. No more running away from your pain, no more hiding. Keep your feet right here, right by my side. Now letting go of sin, you end your reaching. Now lifting your eyes to Him to end your seeking.
