The singer has a dilemma. They're passionate feelings are not sitting right with them, and it's bringing them down. They're torn between two people and don't know how to respond (Like I need you but I don't know how). They feel it, but are not willing to let go of their circumstance with the other person. So 'If this is Love why does it break me down?' The singers heart is hurting for two people, and the person they're talking to is the other half (You're the other half of my broken heart). OR It's just about a bad relationship on the brink of an unwanted break-up by the singer whose not willing to let go just yet. Personally, I like the first scenario, and that's my opinion. ʘ‿ʘ
