He's singing about the lies that his lover told him and just how badly they affected his psyche, he's sounding like a real diva on this track as he uses his voice in so many different ways. He felt depression deep in his soul and he can't understand how and why he fell so hard. He was busy giving all his love, while his lover was way too busy taking him for granted. He sounds super hurt and frankly white detached from the entire concept of love, heartbreak is truly a bad thing and even the biggest of stars aren't immune to this.

What the song means to me The song left Sam wondering why he let his lover into his heart and this is a sentiment shared with so many hurt lovers all around the world after a break-up. The only difference is that he used the pain so expertly to make an undeniable anthem. He's sounding spontaneous yet focused on this one, hardly have I heard a break-up anthem so focused for the past decade. The track makes me feel stronger about love, even if it doesn't end well, that doesn't mean I can't create some magic! I will give this song a rating of 10/10.
