Ceremony Lyrics

How can't you see this is the end?
Let's face the truth, it's obvious
A different morning, the same charade
Tell me... what's left?

It's an illusion
Is it all an illusion?

Prep the surface, bound my limbs
Place a chair beneath the rail
On the outside, just skin and bones
Show me... what's left?

It's an illusion
It's all an illusion

So I'm leaving you tonight
It's not fun here anymore
I'll be joining the parade
Of the ghosts who came before, before
Leaving you complete, no surprise
With one kiss, one caress

The world we shared, it was never there

I'm leaving you tonight
It's not fun here anymore
I'm joining the parade
Of the ghosts before
Leaving you complete for all time
With one kiss, one caress!

It is normally the narcissist who burns relationships when they can no longer take advantage of the other person anymore. In this case Chino caught on to the act and he is leaving first.

@adrian1074 Sounds right. Like to add “Joining the parade, Of the ghosts before” as well it explains to possibilities. #1. It has happened before with other guys she married and possibly he predicted it was probably never gonna work out but gave it a chance. The phrase: “The world we shared, it was never there” Probably meant this was a marriage that did not exist primarily since inception and he knew it. Might have been forced by peers and parents. Possibility # 2. He just want to join the parades of the ghosts before that had experienced the same issue.
