I think this is about a male doctor whose mother is sending him on a guilt trip.

[Stanza 2 - His mother is unhappy with what he does - he feels her judgment]

[Stanza 3 - The Dr. Hippocratic oath is brought here - likely her saying - you aren't supposed to hurt people but you are murdering babies - She is putting the guilt TRIP on hard and he needs to "buckle up" because she isn't stopping any time soon]

The drapes pull back Reveal her wound Her boy on her lap A murderer groomed

[Stanza 4 - At some point the mother likely says - "What if I aborted you?!" and he imagines pulling back the drapes in a hospital and seeing his mother in the delivery room holding him (he is her "wound" because he disappoints her because he does abortions - he is on her lap and eventually becomes an abortion doctor (a murderer groomed)]
