You tire your mind through all your thought
The battle fields that never were
And though you find yourself alone
There’s always time enough to reason
The fires that form before your eyes
The walls that appear that now cut and divide
And the spoils of war that change your faith
The ones who believed were the ones they betrayed
And I can see the world must change and never settle down
But when you run, you only run away
Each step we make takes us afar

And though the force behind the wheel
It seems so natural and instinctive
But no one hears the screams
You drown the nightmare of tears through the demons that hound
