"THIS STORM" The shock was profound. Magdalena's only assignment was to keep an eye on him for her father and to prepare the apocalypse. Thus she betrayed Nicolas from the beginning. But his belief does not falter: Like once before, he wants to save humankind from the preordained destiny. But the Queen takes her failure personally -- and gives order to attack to bring things to an end: She wants to unleash the apocalypse at all costs and storms ahead with her new hordes. Yet the Golden Wall and the Seventh Seal resist. In front of the tower, the knights and Nicolas' friends stand their ground against the demons. Constantly sombre creatures scurry through scattered breaches in the stronghold and must be killed. But for how long will this work out? Suddenly it dawns on Nicolas: He needs the Sacred Heart, lying hidden somewhere in hell, to achieve victory. And so he descends yet another time.
