According to You Tube post I saw by Pat McDonald himself, He said the inspiration for this song was that he was driving around one day and stopped at a stop light. Just as the light turned green, the guy behind him blew his horn twice. Pat thought "What an asshole!" Sadly, since this song was released, the assholery has only gotten worse.
