I actually listened to this song like 10 times today, since Bow Wow Wow is one of my go-tos in the summer, and now I can sing along with something other than phonetic gibberish.

@pedro10998 the only thing that I am still unsure about is "letter x," just from listening to the Peel session version. I hope you submitted an edit, coz looking at the ones I submitted, they're all out of order. I think I was copying and pasting too much.

@misterzan81 Yeah the letter X bit sounds weird, like "letter yaks" or something. But then again there are other songs where Annabella spells weirdly, like the way she sings the K in W.O.R.K sounds a bit weird to me, so I thought maybe it's part of her style or accent. But yeah it could definitely be something else too.

It also ocurred me this morning that it could be "sex mac, sex donalds, sex duck" etc, especially as it leads to the "quack quack" bit.
We should maybe just try to contact Annabella and ask her hahah.

And I actually only realized yesterday that in "W.O.R.K..." she pronounces it "Wo-O-RKa-N-O." I had always thought she was singing "Work-O-R-Ka-N-O."

I think you are right, that she does actually say "sex duck," because it fits with the "quack," AND even the "Donald's" line in a way. And we know she has some thoughts on Disney...

And it is also starting to sound like "maybe (or baby) I must have trivial sex...?" But I don't know what "as a letter X" could mean in that context. Sigh, I will go to my grave never knowing the answer. But here is my new full attempt at deciphering:
