I think this song is about depression and suicide. "Happiness is beautiful to see...don't let it get the best of you...don't burn out...sadness is my enemy" they are all about how depression may seem overwelming, butbherebua hope and you shouldn't give up.

I just wanna point out that the actual line is "It's just another downpour don't let it get the best of you" Google has the same mistake in their lyrics as well.
