I believe in this song Parker talks about battling his addiction and how he realized that he needed to become clean. He feels guilty for wasting peoples time and wasting his own time, too, because he isolated himself and admittedly said he lost faith and motivation to make music for awhile, but now he is slowly getting better. "Red bottle, white cap" is hinting at his use of the opioid, codeine. He openly came out and admitted to his use of this drug on his instagram.
