Sand Canyon hide away
In the dunes where we will stay
While the powers that remain
Send search parties out in vain
Way down in So. Cal. on those free-ways
They overtook me in the fast lane
They tried to break my boyish frame
I swear I barely got away
But I return tonight to sand canyon
We'll hide away just like a band of bandits
We'll wipe the malls out of our minds
Slumber soundly in disguise
We'll have a party out in sand canyon
I'm gonna spend the night in sand canyon
I got a sleeping bag and companion
We'll roast marshmallows yes indeed
And wipe the city off our feet

And when the fog bank burns away

Propped on elbows probably
