Angels Come and Go

She came to me,
She said I'd be surprised,
to find some girl like me.
She said that she,
would like to meet me.
What I've been looking for destined to be.
Every night from dark to night,
no end to conversation near in sight.
I asked her one day,
what she saw in me.
After a brief pause she just said,
"Great Things"
I sometimes wonder,
if we had a chance?
Could we have been together,
make it last?

Out of nowhere an angel decides to befriend you.

Darkness descends and she takes you into her care.

You get so low it scares her but she helps you to pull though.

You emerge from the dark times and move on but she's gone.

All you need to be happy is to know that you made her smile.

Friends may be forever but angels come and go.
Soon to be in misery,
manic depression suffocating me.
Sometimes so high,
but mostly deathly low,
erratic switching moods was how I'd be.
Obsession... stabilised me,
it stopped me falling kept my sanity.
My life WAS her, nothing else mattered.
She was scared of me,
what I'd become.
My damaged mind,
I would not let go.
I walked three country miles to find her home.
I knocked on her door.
I called out her name.
The girl was terrified I'd gone insane.

My troubled mind,
she would find,
came from misfortune of the saddest kind.
My mum was ill,
I'd given up in school,
I had no lifeI had no space to move.
For many weeks she avoided me...
Then came the last time that she spoke to me.
All she said,she "loved knowing me".
She said that I'd made her happy.
She was my saviour,
in darkness she was light,
without her help i would have lost my fight.
Sometimes i think that,
this girl was meant to be,
an angel sent to me to set me free.
