I think it’s about the singer’s girlfriend and his new lifestyle. In a YouTube video by Run For Cover Records (“A Day With Austin Getz of Turnover”) he talks about him and his girlfriend being vegans, washing their clothes by hand, collecting wood for their wood stove for winter time, and going through the woods to a sort of hidden beach where they like to hang out with their dog. Basically connecting with nature and living independently.
