I dreamt that this was all over and that all had returned to normal
We had washed our hands clean of all of these tragedies
And we took a vacation to a little island they call Manhattan, Manhattan
And we stayed for some time, we stayed for the right time
And I know that this is just a small part, a very small part
Of the script that we’ll call our lives
And I really do hope the best for all of us
That we will settle down with our kids and husbands and wives
And in case it doesn’t turn out right

We hailed taxi cabs and three AM you should have seen us then
We were glamorous
