Disaster

One day I was a wandering down the street alone at night
When I came upon a sight and I likely lost my mind
The streetcars all came to a halt, they almost buried me
The police were in the street, staring at a giant beast
His claws were made of sharpened nails, his teeth clear shards of glass
I stood in silent awe of him I knew he would attack
He finally caught a look at me, my legs were frozen stiff
A small path lay ahead of me, I made a run for it
It was a disaster, and my heart started pumping faster
Disaster I don’t know what, I don’t know what to do
Disaster and my heart started flailing faster
Disaster and it’s all because of you
For miles it seemed we traveled past the park ad past my house
And I tried to scream and shout but no one was coming out
The beast he was not kidding, no in fact instead he raised his paw
And he did not care at all, that he seemed to have three flaws
His giant tail tucked under him it knocked between his knees
A matte of hair around his face, he had no view of me
The police man, started shooting, they tried to bring him down
And because of all the raucous, the beast began to howl
It was a disaster, can you catch him any faster
Disaster that is where I cannot move
