From Dried Bones Lyrics
As I look above, as I look below
A body, abstract
A world, abstract
As I look above, as I look below
A god, abstract
Myself, abstract
Surrounded but empty
Alone but many
Piercing eyes
Awakening
From dried bones a rebirth
A soul freed from its chains
On empty grounds can rise
From dried bones a rebirth
A soul freed from its chains
On empty grounds can rise
A new start, a new eon
From dried bones a rebirth
On empty grounds can rise
A body, abstract
A world, abstract
As I look above, as I look below
A god, abstract
Myself, abstract
Alone but many
Piercing eyes
Awakening
A soul freed from its chains
On empty grounds can rise
From dried bones a rebirth
A soul freed from its chains
On empty grounds can rise
A new start, a new eon
On empty grounds can rise

I get the impression that in life they feel imprisoned by the expectations of others (society). Hence the first verse about being abstract ... they are not real! And they feel empty yet are surrounded by life.
However, after death they believe they'll be freed of these expectations and may finally really be free to "live".
I think the "rise" is not to heaven, but rise from the imprisonment of society in life.
